Lately, of late

Going to the Sugarhill Supper Club for an Obama Fundraiser
Sugarhill has a mirrored stairway going up to the supper club. Not quite Versailles, but a bit like the old Tavern on the Green.

Once inside, it's dinner and a show

Late at night the trash cars come through the station

And a mural going up across the street at the Mark Morris Dance Academy

A Private Eye in Boerum Hill

Please forgive the proliferation of subway station shots, but I just had to say that the Bedford-Nostrand G-train station is really a block long. This view looks towards Bedford Ave. from Nostrand Ave.

On my way to the Park Slope Food Coop and this worker from the coop gets out of the subway station and then walks ahead of me with a shopping cart that he had parked at the variety store at the top of the subway stairs on Flatbush Ave. Taking a ride on the subway must knock off a good half hour from your shift, right?

An exalted eggplant at the Hattie Carthan Community Garden

No one riding in the back. A lonely night on the No. 38 Bus, then once off the bus, walking past the laundrymat, the little Christian Center, and the Van Buren Deli on my way home.
