Up on the roof - the view into Crown Heights and Prospect Heights on a bright winter's day

Looking southwest, over Prospect Heights, towards Manhattan and the Empire State Building on 34th Street

Two views of the intersection of Park Place and Washington Avenue, with the Williamsburg Bank Building, downtown, in the distance.

The detective agency across the street.

The No. 1 Kitchen Chinese Restaurant on Washington Ave.

The dome of the Brooklyn Museum in silhouette on the horizon.

Looking eastward into Crown Heights, and St. Teresa's Church below, on Classon Ave.

And this is a truly dilapidated building on the lot next door. Our landlord should clean this up, definitely. But then where would the squirrels and pigeons live? I choose to believe there are no rats living there as well. My choice.
