You can get your car wrapped up on 4th Ave near 3rd Street, Brooklyn

The artists studios building on 3rd St. @ 3rd Ave that I was visiting

It's quite huge, with another warehouse right next to it

And next to that warehouse is a small Muslim pre-school . . .

 . . . right across from the toxic Gowanus Canal

And up the street from that view is this old building - the cheese stands alone!

I almost forgot to post this! After teaching Spike Lee's film 'Do The Right Thing' to my cinematography class, I decided to visit the Bed-Stuy block that served as the set

Sal's Famous Pizzaria would have been where the lot on the left is, and the Korean Grocery would have been where the lot on the right is.

Where Samuel L. Jackson, Mr. Senor Love Daddy, had his radio station, WLOV

It's been a while . . . from late Winter into Spring, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and a bit of the highway from Baltimore to NYC

the No. 1/A/C train station at 168th St. on the West Side shows some fine tiling and gracefully arched doorways and tunnel-ways

this doorway used to be dirty, presenting itself as a slum, but one evening I walked by and it had suddenly been transformed into a nice place to come home to, with a new light fixture and a carefully placed abstract painting to greet the resident and visitor alike
