Unintentional art emerges in the interstitial space that occurs between one advertisement and the next

Abstraction that speaks to a society that understands it. I found this exhibit at the Bedford-Nostrand G train subway station one day. The ads had been stripped away, but the new ads were not yet in place.



 


















But the real zen moments occur in the closed-off and chained up section of the station . . . shots taken through a small crack in the barrier.
