Not elsewhere, but here

I took the gondola to the top of a mountain, above the timber line, other higher mountains surrounding us. A child's playground at the top.

And I walked down, here, the beginning of the trail.

Elsewhere, again.

The town of Saas-Fee, Switzerland

Eidelweiss, in memory of Nonna.

Swiss laundry.
11PM alpine time.

Then a walk the next day past the remains of an ealier landslide, to a meadow and brook.

From LaGuardia to Montpelier, Vermont and back again

The airport lounge, LaGuardia, 6:30AM.

The commuter plane's interior - looking down the aisle from seat 7C.

The New York-Vermont border, ski slopes, and the Green Mountains.

The descent into Burlington Airport.

And on the ground - lunch, as prepared by the New England Culinary Institute at the Vermont College of Fine Arts, Montpelier.

My things piled on the desk in the tiny room provided at the college.

Back at the Burlington Airport for the trip home, and before I know it we're flying over New York and preparing to land once again at LaGuardia.
