I took the gondola to the top of a mountain, above the timber line, other higher mountains surrounding us. A child's playground at the top.

And I walked down, here, the beginning of the trail.

Elsewhere, again.

Then a walk the next day past the remains of an ealier landslide, to a meadow and brook.

From LaGuardia to Montpelier, Vermont and back again
