6:40 yesterday morning, Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn

Stopping to enjoy the lights, on my way to do a work shift at the food co-op.

United States Post Office, Brooklyn, and other adventures

A trip to the slowest Post Office in America, Times Plaza Station, Atlantic Ave., Brooklyn,
with religious peace & love advocates at the crossroads, handing out life-saving/shattering information for the New Year, to read on the subway, perhaps.

While the real deal is to be had a few stops away at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, inside the majick of the new snowfall.

Thanking the goddess, I head home to the funny, funky reality of life on Park Place, with messages from the super, Guss, and a refrigerator in the lobby.

A second-hand store in East Williamsburg does NOT want to take down its Obama sign.

Then in Red Hook, I visit the Ikea.

Last Day of Fall, First Day of Winter, Brooklyn

Plenty of snow two days ago,
and the radiator in the flat upstairs is leaking through the ceiling. Bucket required.

Also required is a trip to Bellevue Hosptial, in Manhattan, to pick up my meds.
Bellevue is dressed for the season.

At the clinic pharmacy one may wait for quite a while. Take a number and take a seat.

Finally, at the window, the prescriptions are 'processed' and handed over.
It's evening by the time I leave Bellevue Hospital Pharmacy, meds in hand.
